My goal is to convey my knowledge on photographic techniques and equipment so researchers can take better photographs for their research, publications and add to the overall preservation of the fragile (and finite) archaeological record.
As an archaeologist my job is to accurately and faithfully document the ancient record for my research and for publication. Being and effective and efficient photographer is very important in terms of scientific clarity. Also given the limited time in the field and limited resources often associated with archaeology it’s essential to get it done right the first time. Enter and see some of the different types of archaeological photography I have done and book one of my workshops so you too can benefit from the experience.
